Polyurethane Trench Breakers

Installing foam trench breakers saves time over traditional sandbags. No sand to haul in, bags to fill, or manpower to fill and move them! Foam is also longer lasting; unlike sandbags polyurethane foam bonds to the trench creating a strong, watertight barrier. In addition, there is nothing abrasive about foam that might damage pipes. Foam is also a better value compared to the cost of sand: having someone fill sandbags, transport them, and lay them in your trenches; foam trench breakers are the better value. We'll bring our self-contained rig along the trench, and within minutes have a ditch breaker that can conform to any shape or condition that your application requires!

KEY BENEFITS

  • In most applications, our installers are able to perform work from ground level, negating the need to get in the trench.
  • Will not break down over time. Spray Foam is an inert substance once it has cured, which only takes 24 hours. The contractor may backfill within the hour.
  • For narrow ditches, there is no need to widen ditches to install breakers.
  • Breakers can be installed in a fraction of the time over sandbags.
  • Spray foam is a better value. Think of rounding up bags, finding sand, filling the bags, transporting sandbags, placing in the ditch. Now imagine letting AIC bring our self-contained rig along the trench, and within minutes having a ditch breaker that can conform to any shape or condition that your application requires.
  • Our foam contains no CFCs, formaldehyde, or ozone depleting agents.
  • Spray foam bonds to the ditch in a way that sandbags never will providing a watertight breaker that will never shift.
  • With foam, there is no part of the ditch breaker that is abrasive. There is no danger of the breaker causing the pipeline any damage.
